I am a fairly quiet and understanding person with the infinite capability to talk your ear off once I get to know you! I have an absolute love for bright, bold and colorful as well as the soft, muted sunny haze. Colors speak to me in a way most can’t understand until after the finished product is available to them. I love anything from modern to shabby to vintage chic, and I love to combine them for a completely new and wonderful look. I love fun and daring to sweet and whimsical and I am up for just about anything in your session.
My family is my absolute world! They are my inspiration and my reason for bettering myself and my work! I tend to try out many things with my family (my poor kids…) before even attempting to do something for a client. I like to be prepared in that aspect of the job. If I cannot master something with them I will not try it with you. I want to give you nothing but the absolute best that I can. My goal is to give you memories that you will cherish for a lifetime!
I am an absolute fan of music! We listen to a little bit of everything in our house as we try to keep things well rounded for our kids. We literally have about 20 days straight worth of music between me and my husband. We have our favorites though, so don't be surprised if I break out my phone during a session and turn on some music to help calm a child's nerves or just to get a baby's attention. Sometimes this trick even helps to loosen parents up as well! I love to watch families interact and this allows me to shoot in a lifestyle type of manner. That secret little kiss dad gives to mom when he thinks no one is watching...I will catch that. The kids holding hands and laughing and not arguing for a minute a two...I will catch that. I honestly feel like music is a great way to relax or to show great emotions, as a lot of songs can have a special meaning to someone.
