A Little Family Fun {Luling, Texas Family Portraiture}

Here I am again...posting another beautiful family for you to enjoy! We strayed away from the usual holiday theme so that we could catch a family simply having fun together. As we roamed around the mill grounds I was able to capture some truly candid moments of everyone that truly represents me and my style of photography. I would share more than I am but I am bound by rules so this is what you guys get! Enjoy!!

I love repeat clients! This sweet little family makes my holiday season every year. I look forward to getting to shoot their holiday portraits and catching up with how their summer went and how the start of school was for both boys. Most of all, I love watching them grow! This family is celebrating 9 wonderful months with this beautiful little girl! I was honored to be able to catch this fun stage in their little family!

Gig Em! {Georgetown Family Portraiture}

I absolutely LOVE photographing this family!

My cousin always has awesome ideas and can see exactly what she wants from her session before we even get started. She gives me a run down of ideas and then we start collaborating on clothing ideas, colors and locations. This time we landed in their backyard for a very relaxed and fun family shoot in our alma mater colors.

It is safe to say they make my job easy, even with a 2 year old running around!

She's Here - 9 Days New {Lockhart Newborn Portraiture}

The long awaited day is finally here and my beautiful little niece Savannah Yvonne made her entrance into the world on August 5th. Due to complications with mom, I didn't get to photographer her right away, but that is okay because all that matters is that both baby and mom are doing wonderful now!

The day I got to shoot this little beauty also happened to be my brother's birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSHUA!

Waiting On Her {Seguin Maternity Portraiture}

My first, niece is on her way and I cannot wait to meet her!

This is my oldest brother (unfortunately not older than me) Joshua and his lovely wife Jessica. They are expecting their first, a sweet baby girl in August and we are all ready to meet her. All I have to say is hang in there Jessica! There's only two weeks to go, even though I know you are ready to pop like yesterday. :)

Sweet Blakely - 12 Days New {Lockhart Newborn Portraiture}

I love newborns! They are so sweet and smell wonderful and are so snuggly!

I had the privilege of shooting this couples wedding back in January and I had a blast! They are so fun and relaxed and I was beyond excited and honored when they asked me to come by and capture their little beauty!

She is just perfect, and I can't wait to get her and her family in front of the camera again.

The Sapp Family {Guadalupe County Portraiture}

This has to be the absolute sweetest family I have ever worked with! They enjoyed every last second of their session and the girls even had fun posing themselves and coming up with some fun ideas for their shots!

Meet the Sapp family and all their cuteness! These sweet girls also run their own mini bakery on the weekends and I can vouch for them that their sweet treats totally rock! Sweet Little Aaron - Seguin, Guadalupe County Newborn Portraiture

So I am very, VERY behind on previews again. I have been throwing everything up on Facebook and forgetting about my poor blog!

So this little sweetie is my newest nephew! Granted he's not so new anymore as he was born back in September of 2012 and my munchkin is now 8 months old!

So to be totally honest, sometimes a newborn is just utter perfection and will just let you mold them into whatever pose you are trying to achieve and others...well they won't even let you touch them! Yeah, the little munchkin was the latter of the two!

My sister in law and I tried for several hours to get that boy to sleep, he was fed, fat full and sleepy and yet it was like he knew I needed to get some pics of him and just refused to sleep! So this was the best I could get of him...enjoy his cuteness!

Shades Of Gray

It seems the only time I can get here is to update for the monthly blog challenge. There is to much going on and sometimes I think my head is going to explode. There are not enough of me nor enough days in the week to get the things done that I need to finish! Go figure right...

This month has been insane...from prepping the daughter unit for surgery to the hubs leaving for work again, I feel like it doesn't end! That being said, I did manage to march the family out back and get some shots before the hubs took off for work this past Sunday.

It's not often that I post pictures of the family, let alone myself...enjoy the one pic of me :p because there won't be another for a good while!

This months theme was black and white or photos in black and white...and since my kitchen is no where near completed...I converted my family pics to black and white (which I am not finding that I really like it even though the colors were nice and bright and stand out wonderfully...it is a shame I bought the prints already!) for the challenge! I think the conversion came out nicely!

Back 2 School & A Little Cake Too {Georgetown - Williamson County Child Portraiture}

There is nothing better than catching a child in the moment; that exact moment of who they are and their personality radiates in every picture you take of them!

That is how my cousins kids are when they are in front of my camera! Always in the here and now, even when I pose them for a shot! I have to be quick and on my toes and ready for anything with the four of them!! They make me work for every single shot and I have to say it is worth it!

This little cutie isn't headed off to school this year but before I could get the set up ready for her, she had made up her mind what she wanted for her portraits...Back 2 School, just like her two older siblings! She is such a fun, lively little girl and you can see her personality just dripping off of her!

I can hardly believe this sweet girl is headed off to 6th grade in just a few days!!! You're making me feel old here kiddo!!

This little man is so shy and quite and his mother has to make faces behind me just to get a smile out of him! I love my shy quiet ones!!

And little man here didn't want a dang thing to do with me or my camera! I got him to warm up to me eventually though...took some bribery as you will see below!

And because it's that time of the month again...color challenge time, the bribery portraits work perfectly with this months theme of Rainbow Bright (any bright and bold colors we want). Not to mention, who doesn't love a baby's first birthday cake smash session!?

Independent Cuties

It’s not often that I post pictures of my kids or family for that matter….I have a crazy that won’t let things rest and well she’s the reason I tend to leave them off my blog. I have decided that I am not going to let her royal craziness have that part of my life anymore!
So with that said, this months blog challenge was red, white and/or blue. Now, I usually attempt to get themed pictures of the kids for all of the fun holidays we take part in. So of course for Independence Day we went with a full red, white and blue theme but kept it simple and casual. I really wanted to play with some sparklers but little man is definitely not ready to play with those (I have a tendency to forget he’s only 19 months old and not 2.5 or 3 like everyone seems to think when they guess his age)! Plus, he really doesn’t sit still on location shoots all that well either! He made me work for the whole 2 shots I got of him! My daughter is only good for so many as well so I have to be quick and ready with her!

Beautiful B Turns One {Guadalupe County - Seguin Child Portraiture}

It’s that time of year…I get nostalgic and realize its been a year since my first newborn clients have come to see me. It’s amazing how fast time flies!

It honestly seems like yesterday that I took Miss B’s newborn photos but alas…here she is in all her cuteness! Time is passing far to quickly!

She is such a sweet girl and I just want to wish you a very happy first birthday B!

Adorable little H gave me some of my most favorite newborn shots and I find it hard to believe he is already one!!

Seriously, where did this last year go? For his shoot, we got to kill a cake!! It was a little bigger than what his mom wanted but we made good use of it and I think H loved it!

It seems that March, April and May not only ring in spring but LOTS of birthdays!

Sweet little man C has turned three and I can’t believe how much he has grown since his second birthday! Last year he was very quiet and serious and wouldn’t smile for anything, no matter what I did. This year he was so full of giggles and smiles and into everything little boys like to get into…rocks and chunking them into the creek! He had a blast so I just let him roll with it!

Sweet A Turns 3 {Guadalupe County - Seguin Child Portraiture}

Is it time for a themed birthday shoot yet!? Why yes it is!

Little Miss A has been a client since she was 9 months old, when I first opened shop. She is now three and for her birthday this year, she is having a carnival party! Lots of popcorn, cotton candy and your typical carnival games…like the one my kid loves most…get a ping pong ball in the bowl and you get to take home a fish! Yup, there was not only cotton candy and popcorn in this shoot but a big gold fish to boot!

This sweet girl is a blast! And like any girl, she definitely let’s me know when she’s done with me! But I will take her royal cuteness any day!

Forgive me…I have been abnormally quiet! There has been a lot going on and my brain just doesn’t function as it should. I guess that’s really nothing new, but it just seems to be happening more often than not these days!

So, it’s time to play a little catch up! I have had several sessions since my last sneak peek and I think I really should post the new peeks now!

Say hello to my fab family that made it out for my springtime minis! I see these guys A LOT and I LOVE watching them and especially watching the kids grow! I also love that sweet girl A asks specifically for me to take her photos! I feel loved!

So enjoy this adorable family!

And you know...I really love the clients that will do just about anything you ask them to do, but what is best is when you just give them an idea. I love capturing the true tender moments...especially the ones between mom and dad!

Class Of 2012 ~ Michelle M {Hays County - San Marcos Senior Portraiture}

And the last of the gorgeous girls from last Saturday’s Senior Rep session!

I have known Michelle since she was maybe 6 or 7 years old! I worked with her older sister at the end of high school thru most of our college days and she was always around! She was the cutest little kid! Absolutely adorable with her chubby little cheeks and curly hair and the manners…the girl had some major manners and behaved better than most adults I knew at the time!

She is now a gorgeous young woman and I suddenly feel very old. She is still sweet and well mannered and I hope she gets everything she wants out of life.

Congrats to all three of you gorgeous girls!

Meet Michelle! She is a member of the Jr. ROTC and I read that she has recently enlisted! So thank you Michelle, for being one of the brave and being there to defend our country!

I can't say enough good things about these girls! They were all willing to do what I asked with no questions asked and had so many great ideas that honestly there wasn't much work for me to do other than to take their pictures!
